Workers mark May Day with rally in Bangkok amid rising costs

Bangkok, May 1 (EFE/EPA).- Hundreds of Thai and migrant workers gathered at Democracy Monument on Friday to mark International Labor Day 2026, demanding fair wages, job security, stronger social welfare and protection amid rising fuel prices and living costs linked to the war in the Middle East.
