Work continues to remove infrastructure from Spanish side of Gibraltar border crossing

La Línea de La Concepción, Spain, Jun 18 (EFE).- Work to remove infrastructure from the Spanish side of the border crossing with Gibraltar began this week, ahead of the entry into force of the Treaty between the European Union and the United Kingdom on the status of the British colony following Brexit.

This treaty will lead to the removal of the border fence, as Gibraltar will become part of the Schengen Area through Spain, since the United Kingdom is not part of this free-movement alliance that unites 29 European countries.
