Venezuela declares National Baseball Day following victory over the US in the World Baseball Classic

Caracas, Mar. 18 (EFE).- Venezuela’s acting president, Delcy Rodríguez, announced on Wednesday that she had declared March 17 as National Baseball Day in the country to commemorate the first victory by a Venezuelan team in the World Baseball Classic, following Tuesday’s final against the US national team.
