Uruguayan engineer recognized for project developing mobile networks of the future

Montevideo, Feb. 24 (EFE).- Following her proposal to create an experimental environment to test and develop the mobile networks of the future, electrical engineer Claudina Rattaro received the UNESCO and L'Oréal “For Women in Science” award in Uruguay on Tuesday.

“I am an electrical engineer, specializing in telecommunications, and I work in mobile networks. The project focuses on that, mobile networks, cell phones, which are 5G networks, 6G networks, already thinking about the future. What we do in the project is propose new solutions so that these networks work better and better,” the winner explained to Agencia EFE.
