Turkey’s main opposition party protests arrest of Istanbul mayor

Istanbul (Turkey), Jul 16 (EFE).— Turkey’s main opposition party, the Republican People's Party (CHP), staged a rally in Istanbul on Wednesday to protest the suspension and imprisonment of the city’s mayor, Ekrem Imamoglu. The demonstration drew hundreds of supporters demanding justice and denouncing what they consider a politically motivated move.
