Spain's Valencia region on high alert as orange weather warning expands to Alicante

Benidorm, Spain, May 7 (EFE).- The Emergency Coordination Center of the Generalitat Valenciana has extended an orange alert—denoting "important risk"—to the southern coast of Alicante, placing the entire province under high-level weather warnings.

Following the latest reports from the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET), emergency officials expanded the notification which previously covered the interior and southern coast of Valencia province. (Camera: MIGUELINA GALIANO).
