The pope bids farewell to Spain with a mass in Tenerife

Santa Cruz de Tenerife, June 12 (EFE).- The arrival of migrants by sea to the Canary Islands—silent, vulnerable, and persistent—became visible this Friday in the harbor of Santa Cruz, where Pope Francis presided over the closing Mass of his trip to Spain: in the background, almost like an unavoidable presence, three makshift boats converted into an image as beautiful as it is unsettling.
