Srinagar, India, Mar 17 (EFE/EPA).- Muslims gathered in India on Tuesday morning to hold special night prayers to mark the 27th night of Ramadan, known as Shab-e-Qadr.Worshippers attended prayers at a shrine in Srinagar, observing one of the holiest nights of the Islamic calendar.The night, also known as Laylat Al Qadr, commemorates the revelation of the first verses of the Koran and is widely observed with prayers and devotion.
