Israeli army confirms that hundreds of Druze have crossed the border and entered Syria

Majdal Shams, Jul 16 (EFE).- Hundreds of Druze residents of the Syrian Golan Heights, occupied by Israel, have crossed into Syria, an Israeli military official confirmed to EFE on Wednesday.

For the second consecutive day, groups of Druze from villages such as Majdal Shams have crossed the fence installed on the Israeli border with Syria, where clashes continue in Al Sueida between Druze, Bedouins and forces of the new Syrian regime.
