International trade union federations warn that the trade union movement in Ecuador “is under siege”

Quito, May 12 (EFE).- Ramiro Vega, the regional coordinator for Latin America and the Caribbean at the Trade Union Institute for Development Cooperation (ISCOD-UGT), warned in an interview with EFE that the “trade union movement in Ecuador is under siege” and that “it is very difficult for it to operate normally to strengthen and grow under these conditions.”
