Buenos Aires, March 20 (EFE).– Argentina will commemorate the 50th anniversary of the coup d'état that ushered in a bloody military regime responsible for grave crimes against humanity, many of which remain unpunished. This open wound has been deepened by the rhetoric and decisions of Javier Milei's government.STATEMENTS BY SANDRA RAGGIO, DIRECTOR GENERAL OF THE BUENOS AIRES PROVINCIAL COMMISSION FOR MEMORY:"These 50 years, we must redouble our efforts, especially with regard to new generations. It's as if new generations continue to feel that this past binds them and that this past is deeply connected to the present. Because the economic policies this government is implementing, its rhetoric, the repression of social protest, and how it views that protest, clearly connect it to the past."CAMERA: MATÍAS CAMPAYA
