FRANCE ART

An exhibition at the Musée de l'Orangerie in Paris pays tribute to painter Henri Rousseau

Paris (France), March 20 (EFE). Known as 'the customs officer' for his job, the French Henri Rousseau (1844-1910), one of the leading exponents of Naïve art (spontaneous, ingenuous and self-taught), always dreamed of being recognized as a great painter. He did not truly achieve this in his lifetime, but he did after his death, as a new exhibition in Paris claims.
