Dozens gather in Madrid to protest neighbor’s eviction | Vídeo

Madrid, May 7 (EFE).- About 50 people gathered early Thursday morning on Carnero Street in downtown Madrid to try to stop the eviction of Mariano Ordaz, a 67-year-old resident whose eviction has already been halted on four previous occasions.

According to spokespeople for the Tenants’ Union, the National Police cordoned off the area with a large deployment of several police vans, before the arrival of the judicial commission.
