Dalai Lama announces succession plan | Vídeo

New Delhi, Jul 2 (EFE/EPA).- The Dalai Lama designated on Wednesday the Gaden Phodrang Trust, the foundation that manages his affairs, as the exclusive authority to recognize his reincarnation, in a historic statement that seeks to protect the lineage of his institution and the Tibetan struggle against the Chinese government.

“I have received messages through various channels (...). In accordance with all these requests, I am affirming that the institution of the Dalai Lama will continue,” the Dalai Lama said in a statement. (Camera: RAJAT GUPTA).
