Coastal Menorca celebrates seafaring processions in honor of the Virgin of Carmen

Fornells (Menorca), Jul 16 (EFE).— The Virgin of Carmen, patron saint of fishermen, was honored on Wednesday with maritime processions held along various points of Menorca’s coast. Boats adorned with flowers and images of the Virgin sailed through the waters as local communities paid tribute to the protector of the sea.
