China transforms into international tourism power after pandemic

Beijing, May 8 (EFE).- China, traditionally a major source of outbound tourists, is now seeking to attract more foreign visitors as it moves toward challenging the United States for global leadership in the tourism sector.

According to the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC), China is on track to dispute this economic leadership before 2030, although a large portion of its current sector weight comes from its massive domestic market. (Camera: HANDOUT).
