Bogota, Jun 10 (EFE).- Colombia's Barranquilla Carnival brought its music, dance and cultural traditions to Bogotá on Wednesday in its first showcase in the country's Andean capital.More than 120 artists performed at the Julio Mario Santo Domingo Theatre, presenting a journey through the festival's Afro-Indigenous roots and Caribbean heritage with traditional rhythms, costumes and dance performances.Recognised by UNESCO as a Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity, the Barranquilla Carnival used the event to celebrate its cultural legacy as preparations continue for its 2027 edition.
