Article 19: Press censorship in Mexico no longer only kills or silences, it now monitors

Mexico City, May 6 (EFE).- Censorship against journalists in Mexico is no longer exercised only with “blows or bullets,” but also through state surveillance, data control, and institutional opacity, amid a regional increase in attacks and pressure against the press, the organization Article 19 warned on Wednesday.
