Taichung, May 7 (EFE).- Taiwan's drone exports to Europe have multiplied 40 times in the face of the demand caused by the war in Ukraine, as the island takes advantage of the situation to develop its own drone industry, with an eye on an eventual armed conflict with China.

According to the Research Institute for Democracy, Society, and Emerging Technology (DSET), a Taiwanese government-funded think tank, shipments of Taiwanese drones to the European continent reached 136,010 units in the first quarter of 2026. (Camera: JAVIER CASTRO BUGARÍN).
