Latin America’s largest port on alert over Trump’s tariff hike on Brazil

Santos (Brazil), Jul 16 (EFE).— The announcement by US President Donald Trump to raise tariffs on Brazilian imports has put much of the industry in Latin America’s largest economy on high alert. The Port of Santos, the continent’s busiest, is bracing for potential economic impacts as exporters and officials assess the consequences of the new trade barriers.
