Palawan, Aug 5 (EFE).- The Philippines on Tuesday condemned China’s recent rocket launch, used to place satellites into orbit, as “irresponsible,” expressing concern over falling debris that allegedly alarmed residents and posed risks to public safety.

“We condemn in no uncertain terms the irresponsible testing done by the Peoples Republic of China of its Long March 12 rocket which alarmed the public and placed the people of Palawan (Island) at risk,” the Philippine National Security Council (NSC) said in a statement. (Camera: HANDOUT).
