Paris, Jul 10 (EFE) - The first Birkin bag by Hermès, which was designed specifically for the French-British actress and singer Jane Birkin (1946-2023), was auctioned for almost 8.6 million euros on Thursday in Paris by Sotheby's. The first unit of this now legendary model, which shows marks of use, was made by Hermès for Jane Birkin.
