Women in Kabul build new paths through work
KABUL (Afghanistan), 06/05/2026.- Afghan women work at a small ice cream production company established by female entrepreneur Asma Sharifi in Kabul, Afghanistan, 05 May 2026 (issued 06 May 2026). Founded with limited capital four years ago, the business now employs around 10 women and produces up to 6,000 ice creams daily, providing income opportunities for women amid ongoing restrictions on female education and employment in Afghanistan.
