Ukrainian farmers prepare for new season amid Russian invasion
KHARKIV (Ukraine), 06/05/2026.- Ukrainian farmer Oleksandr Gavryliuk shows his truck, damaged in shelling, on a farm near the border of the Kharkiv and Donetsk areas, Ukraine, 06 May 2026, amid the ongoing Russian invasion. Before the war, Oleksandr owned 3,100 hectares of land, but now he can only use 2,300 hectares that have been cleared of explosive ordnance.
