Dutch hospital prepares for possible arrival of cruise ship hantavirus patient

Preparations are being made at the hospital for the possible arrival of at least one patient from the cruise ship MV Hondius, said a spokesperson. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), three suspected hantavirus case patients have been evacuated from the ship, anchored off the coast of Praia in Cape Verde, and are on their way to receive medical care in the Netherlands in coordination with WHO.
