Danish King Frederik X inaugurates Lynetteholm's perimeter
Copenhagen (Denmark), 17/06/2026.- Danish King Frederik X (L) together with machine operator Poul Holmgaard (R) as he inaugurated Lynetteholm's perimeter on Refshalevej in Copenhagen, 17 June 2026. Lynetteholm's perimeter is planned to be about 7 kilometers long. Lynetteholm is an artificial peninsula under construction in Copenhagen Harbor between Refshaleoeen and Nordhavn. It is being established with surplus soil from constructions and is planned to be fully completed by the late 2060s to accommodate 35, 000 residents and function as storm surge protection.
