Coastal uplift observed in southern Philippine coastline following 08 June earthquake
GLAN MUNICIPALITY (Philippines), 17/06/2026.- A handout photo made available by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources-Soccsksargen (DENR-Soccsksargen) shows exposed corals due to a coastal uplift along the coast of Pangyan village, in Glan municipality, Sarangani province, southern Philippines, 10 June 2026 (issued 17 June 2026). The effect was observed following the 7.8 magnitude earthquake that hit the southern Philippines on 08 June.
