LASHKARGAH (Afghanistan), 05/05/2026.- An Afghan man waits to have his artificial limbs fitted at the orthopedic hospital of the Red Cross Institute in Lashkargah, Helmand, Afghanistan, 05 May 2026. The ICRC-supported Physical Rehabilitation Center provides surgery, artificial limbs and assistive devices to disabled patients from several provinces, and treated 19,000 patients in 2025, officials said.
